Important communication for Brazilian Suppliers - IPI Reduction
Dear Supplier,
We inform you that due to the publication of Decree nº 10.979/2022 of February 25th, 2022 your purchase orders will be updated to recognize the IPI reduction provided for in this decree, which reduces the IPI rate for all products by 25% from February 25th, 2022 (example: products that were previously taxed at 8% are now taxed at 6%).
Based on this, in order to avoid debts, we ask you to update your systems as soon as possible, in order to recognize the IPI reduction of 25% in your supplies to all our plants in Brazil.
